PBI Mexico: Interamerican Court of Human Rights finds Mexico guilty for the forced disappearance of Rosendo Radilla

On Tuesday December 15, 2009, the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IAHRC) made public their finding against the Mexican State in the case of Rosendo Radilla, who was forcibly disappeared at a military checkpoint in Atoyac de Álvarez, Guerrero, in August 1974.
PBI Nepal and Human Rights day in Bardiya

UN General Assembly passes resolution on human rights defenders
The 3rd committee of the General Assembly last week passed a resolution on human rights defenders which was adopted adopted by consensus – after excellent leadership from Norway, who led the negotiations.
