Guaranteeing safety of human rights defenders
PBI volunteers carried out approximately 700 accompaniments with at risk lawyers in 2010.[1] PBI members served as international observers during court audiences, and accompanied during visits to jailed human rights defenders and field visits to gather important testimonies.
